In the twenties of the last century, Lindy Hop was born in the district of Harlem, New York, in the context of the variegated African-American cultural fabric.
A dance that would soon represent, among other things, the fight against racial segregation in favor of the integration of the African American minority into the community.
A black dance, born on black music, of men and women who gave their sweat, their blood, their art, their voice to build that country that still today, 100 years later, denies them the fundamental rights of the human being.
