The Lindy Hop in Florence amateur sports association was founded in 2010 from an idea by Tommaso Dainelli and Giulia Agostini, as a project of aggregation and creation of a community in the Florentine area through the diffusion of dance and Swing music, both valid means of promoting meeting, socialization and the exchange of opinions between people.
Since then Lindy Hop in Florence a.s.d. has organized dance courses and events aimed at promoting and spreading a quality musical and artist culture, in the desire to get in touch and show as many people as possible the beauty and joy of Lindy Hop, a dance of African American origins, born in Harlem (New York) in the 1930s.
