The LessJazz Quartet offers a repertoire based on some masterpieces of American vocal music in jazz and swing style.
The band interprets famous songs by Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, the great blues of Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, Etta James, and the most unknown songs of the great protagonists of Jazz and Swing of the early years of the Jazz Age.
In particular, the band wanted to rediscover and re-evaluate songs of these authors, remained inexplicably hidden to the general public but of great artistic and musical value.

Music and research are the leading threads of the project that aims to rediscover the rhythm, sound and atmosphere of the 20s, 30s and 40s of the American twentieth century in a broad cultural spectrum ranging from the history of Music, art, fashion to the practice of the same.
